Company information:
On behalf of our client - a leading electronics manufacturer - is seeking for experienced Oracle Transportation Management consultants for a 6 months project in Budapest - Hungary.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is for the employee to secure that the suggested OTM solution supports the business requirements that the project is aiming for.
Also for the employee to learn as much as possible about the chosen solution from working together with the external Implementation consultants so that he/she can run the system on their own going forward and implement other location without support from external resources.
The application architect will be part of testing and implementing the solution in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the best way for setting up the application to support the business requirements and which other systems the application should interface with
- Represent the local business demands
- Implement the agreed solution into EMA-EU operations
- Participating in the Change Management Process, providing information regarding the consequences of changes, and supporting the completion of approved changes
- Optimize the application from a configuration point of view
- Manage the process solution after go-live and secure the future of the set-up
- Coordinate activities for testing new solutions in the application
- Steering problem-solving processes
- Help to ensure the integrity of the production environment
- Liaison with local key users

-Hands on experience with systems such as JD Edwards (all variants), Copics, OTD, WMS, LPS, Scala, EFS
-Hands on experience from current process solutions
Skills:
Previous Experience:
Previous hands on experience from at least two of the above mentioned systems. At least 5 years of working together with the logistics area
