Senior Java Swing Developers

in our Application Development group.


Role:
This is for a senior Java and Java/Swing Developer for our Budapest software engineering and quality
assurance team. This candidate will be responsible for design and implementation of user interface,
reporting and some core functional areas of our next-generation equity portfolio analytics products.
This role would suit a person who has experience in using Java Swing and JDK 1.5 to build desktop
applications products, and who has a broad appreciation of the institutional investment domain. The
person will be expected to work closely with our product managers and application developers in
multiple global locations. We are seeking someone with a keen interest in application usability, expertlevel
UI programming ability, experience with test-driven development practices, and the ability to
critically understand and analyze products’ future development options.

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Masters Degree preferred.
• Software engineering experience on the Windows XP/2000/2003 platform. Linux experience
also desirable.
• Senior-level experience with Java Swing, JDK 1.5, JUnit, HP/Mercury QTP.
• Excellent communications skills and English fluency
