About this role
This is for a Lead Java Developers for our client’s Budapest software engineering and quality assurance team. - Expected to help recruit other strong Java software engineers and experienced quality assurance engineers and to successfully grow the team
- Work closely with our product managers and application developers in multiple global locations.
- We are seeking someone with a keen interest in application usability, an appreciation for quantitative programming skills, experience with test-driven development practices, and the ability to critically understand and analyze products’ future development options.
- The person will play a hands-on role in Java development, in addition to guiding other developers.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Masters Degree preferred.
- Good manager of people and enthusiastic leader
- Software engineering experience on the Windows XP/2000/2003 platform.
- Senior-level experience with Java UI technologies (Java Swing or JSP or AJAX), JDK 1.5, JUnit,
- Advantage: HP/Mercury QTP knowledge
- Excellent communications skills and English fluency
- Strong interest in financial investment domain.
